THE GOOD STEER CELEBRATES “50 GOOD YEARS”
AND ASKS PUBLIC TO SHARE THEIR “GOOD” MEMORIES

Lake Grove, NY, January 10, 2007 –The Good Steer is inviting people to walk down memory lane and recall some of the “Good” memories they have had over the past 50 years at the celebrated restaurant. Participants will have a chance to tell their favorite Good Steer memory – which will be submitted to win a write-up in the Times Beacon Record Newspapers and a free dinner for their entire family.
The public is invited to tell the Good Steer in 50 words or less about a particular “Good” memory at the Good Steer, (photos are welcome as well). 50 families will be chosen to win. All entries must be received by March 15, 2006. “We’re thrilled to be celebrating 50 years in business here on Long Island, and want to give the community a chance to tell us about their favorite memory at the Good Steer. ,” says Robert McCarroll, owner and manager of the family-owned restaurant which first opened its doors on February 14, 1957.
