THE GOOD STEER CELEBRATES “50 GOOD
YEARS”
AND ASKS PUBLIC TO ADD TO THEIR MENU
Community Invited to Suggest New and Innovative Menu
Items to the Good Steer’s famed Menu
Lake Grove,
NY, December xx, 2006 – The Good Steer is celebrating its
50th birthday this year … and has invited the community to
suggest new and innovative menu items to their already celebrated
menu. As part of its 50th Anniversary Celebration, the Long Island
community is encouraged to nominate a recipe to the Good Steer menu
in the “What Would Be Good” Menu Contest!
The lucky winner of the “What Would Be Good” Menu Contest
will receive their recipe added to Good Steer’s menu, a write-up
and photo in the Times Beacon Record Newspapers and a “Good
Gift”.
The Good Steer “What Would Be Good” promotion will run
from January 2007 to June 4th 2007. The community can nominate a
recipe or menu suggestion by sending a letter, recipe and photo
of the finished product if possible to, “Add to Our Menu”,
585 Stewart Avenue, Suite 430, Garden City, NY 11530 before June
4th 2007.
“We’re thrilled to be celebrating 50 years in business
here on Long Island, and want to give the community a chance to
add their favorite dish to our legendary menu,” says Robert
McCarroll, owner and manager of the family-owned restaurant which
first opened its doors on February 14, 1957.
