The Good Steer Celebrates “50 Good Years” With “50 Good Works”
Community Invited to Nominate Local Residents Who “Do Good Works” in our Community

Lake Grove, NY, February, 2007– The Good Steer is celebrating its 50th birthday this year … and has invited the community to recognize local residents who do “Good Works” around Long Island.  As part of its 50th Anniversary Celebration, the Long Island community is encouraged to nominate an outstanding citizen who exemplifies “Good” within his or her community.    
           
Each month a winner will be chosen and will receive a write-up in the Times Beacon Record Newspapers as well as a free dinner for two at the Good Steer restaurant on Route 25 in Lake Grove.

The Good Steer “Good Works” promotion will run from February 2007 to February 2008.  The community can nominate a candidate for “Good Works” by sending a letter and photo to “Good Works”, 585 Stewart Avenue, Suite 430, Garden City, NY 11530 or by filling out the form below.

“We’re thrilled to be celebrating 50 years in business here on Long Island, and want to recognize all the “Good” that goes on in our community and the people who make it possible as part of our celebration of this significant milestone,” says Robert McCarroll, owner and manager of the family-owned restaurant which first opened its doors on February 14, 1957.
